College girl 'commits suicide'

A college girl reportedly committed suicide in her bedroom at Kalidaskhali village in Bagha upazila of Rajshahi district on Sunday afternoon.

Deceased Ria Khatun, 16, was a student of Class XI at Kalidaskhali High School in the upazila, said Bagha Police Station officer in-charge Mohsin Ali.

Victim's father Reazul Islam said they found Ria hanged with the bar of her bedroom in the afternoon. She might have committed suicide due to her headache as she had been suffered from the disease for long, Reazul added.

The OC said an unnatural death case was filed with the police station in the connection.
