Jamaat man held in Rajshahi

Police on Thursday arrested a jamaat leader from Tanore upazila of Rajshahi.

Arrested Abdur Rahim,55, is a rokon of Tanore upazila Jamaat-e-Islami and vice chairman of the upazila council.

Tanore upazila OC Rezaul Islam said Abdur Rahim was arrested from the upazila parishad premises at about 3pm.

He is an accused in a violence case, he added.
