Arms, bullets recovered near BNP leader's house

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) recovered arms and ammunition from an abandoned place beside the house of a local Jubo Dal leader in Sonagazi upazila of Feni on Friday night.

RAB-7 camp commander Shafayet Jamil Fahim said a team of the elite force conducted a drive in North Char Kandia at night and recovered five foreign guns, two revolvers, two shotguns, a pipegun and 38 bullets beside the house of Khurshid Alam, general secretary of upazila unit Jubo Dal.

Sources said the arms and bullets were kept for carrying out sabotage during Sunday's election.
