MP Tonmoy vows to end extortion, drugs, land grabbing in Bagerhat

Sheikh Sarhan Naser Tonmoy, parliament member from Bagerhat-2, vowed to end extortion, drugs and land in the area.

He said this during a public speech in his constituency in Bagerhat recently.

He said that eliminating all crimes such as rampant drug abuse, land grabbing as well as extortion is a prerequisite to create a modern and developed Bagerhat.

He sought help of law enforcement as well as the cooperation of the people of Bagerhat in this regard, said a press release.

Immediately after his victory, he thanked the people of Bagerhat in a speech and urged all residents of Bagerhat to be united for the cause of building a better Bagerhat.

Furthermore, he has taken a stance against violence and urged everyone to live and work in harmony.
