Recipe of Monipuri Cuisine

The Manipuris are one of the major ethnic communities of Bangladesh. They migrated to Bangladesh during the reign of Rajarshi Bhagyachandra. At present they live in different places of Sylhet Division. According to the 2011 population census, there were about 50,000 Manipuris in Bangladesh. Manipuri culture has a rich and colourful tradition. Culinary artist and food blogger Alvi Rahman Shovon has presented a traditional recipe of Monipuri cuisine.

Ingredients :
Water spinach chopped 4 cup
Onion chopped 1 cup
Burned dry fish 1 cup
Green chili chopped 4 tbs
Roasted peas powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste


Method:
Mix all the ingredients together and serve.
