MBSTU holds seminar on inclusive growth of BD

Economics department of Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) organised a seminar on "Inclusive Growth of Bangladesh: Evidence and Issues" at the conference room of the Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Department yesterday.
Toufiqul Islam Khan, Senior Research Fellow of the Center for Policy Dialogue (CPD) was the resource person at the seminar. Acting Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Prof Dr Mohammad Khademul Islam was present as special guest and Dr Mohammad Nazmus Sadeqin, Chairman of Economics department presided over the event.
Speakers at the seminar said that the concept of inclusive growth has spread widely in the developed countries. In order to get the benefit of the economic growth, we need to look at intra-economic growth as well as an acceptable indicator of this phenomenon for Bangladesh.
Teachers and students of the department were present at the seminar.
