DU VC condoles death Dr Sultana Zaman

Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman condoled the death of DU Prof Emeritus Dr Sultana Sarwat Ara Zaman.
Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman expressed his profound shock at death of noted academician and psychologist Prof Emeritus Dr Sultana Sarwat Ara Zaman in a condolence message on March23, 2020. He said Prof Dr Sultana Sarwat Ara Zaman played a pioneering role in establishing the Department of Special Education at the Institute of Education and Research of DU. She will be remembered for her great contribution to establish "Bangladesh Protibandhi Foundation" and other social welfare oriented organizations for changing the lots of disadvantaged, mentally and physically challenged children and women, DU VC added.
Prof Akhtaruzzaman prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul of Prof Dr Sultana Sarwat Ara Zaman and expressed sympathy to the bereaved family members of the deceased.
It may be mentioned here that Prof Dr Sultana Sarwat Ara Zaman (87) died on March 22, 2020 at her daughter's residence in the city. She was suffering from various old-age complications.
