Ex-Minister Nurul Islam no more

Nurul Islam Manzur, former State Minister for Communication, passed away at a hospital in Dhaka on Monday night. He was 84.

He breathed his last around 11:50pm at the Evercare Hospital.

Nurul Islam's son Ahmed Sohel Manzur Sumon said his father had been suffering from old age complications and admitted to the hospital 14 days ago.

Islam left behind his wife, four sons, three daughters and host of relatives to mourn his death.

The former minister will be buried at Banani graveyard after a namaz-e-janaza after Asr prayers.
