Urologist Manjur Rashid dies of coronavirus

Dr Manjur Rashid Chowdhury, former senior consultant of the Urology Department of  Dhaka Medical College Hospital died of coronavirus on Tuesday.
 
The 61-year-old physician died at Anwar Khan Modern Hospital. He had been admitted to the hospital 18 days ago after tested positive for COVID-19.

Hospital's Director (admin) Dr Ehteshamul Haque confirmed the matter.

Dr Haque, also Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) Secretary General, informed media that nine physicians have, so far, died of COVID-19 while four died with the virus symptoms.

Over 800 physicians have, so far, been infected with the coronavirus across the country, he added.
