Andrew Kishore laid to rest beside parents' grave

Celebrated playback singer Andrew Kishore was laid to rest beside his parents' grave at Christian cemetery in Sreerampur area of Rajshahi.

Earlier, his body was kept at a local Church in the city from 9am-10am for the people from all walks of life to pay their last respect.

Rajshahi-2 lawmaker Fazle Hossain Badshah, teachers and members of different cultural institutions, general secretary of Bangladesh Film Artistes’ Association Zayed Khan, composer Ethun Babu were also present there.

The renowned singer died on July 6 at his sister's clinic in Rajshahi city at the age of 64.

His funeral had delayed as his son and daughter returned from Australia after nine days of his death.
