Jamuna Bank manager held for embezzling money of Tk over 12cr

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested Sawgat Arman, manager of Bogura Jamuna Bank branch, for embezzling money of Tk over 12 crore.

The officials of the ACC's Bogura Integrated Office kept him under their custody.

ACC's Bogura integrated office assistant director Aminul Islam said, "After investigation, we found Sawgat's involvement in embezzling the money. He was detained during a raid at the branch on Tuesday night."

Sawgat was shown arrested following a case filed by Aminul Islam against him.

Aminul Islam said, he will be produced in court after interrogation.
