Maj Gen Mizanur Rahman Shamim new DG of Ansar and VDP

Major General Mizanur Rahman Shamim has been appointed as new Director General of the Bangladesh Ansar & Village Defense Party (DG, Ansar & VDP).

The Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday issued an order appointing Major General Mizanur Rahman Shamim as the Director General of Ansar and VDP, and placing his job under the Public Safety Division.

Earlier on July 19, Major General Kazi Sharif Kaikobad was withdrawn from the Director General of Ansar and VDP.
