Electrician dies from electrocution in Mymensingh

An electrician died from electrocution in Mymensingh’s Gouripur upazila on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Mostafa, 19, son of Nazrul Islam, a resident of Haluaghat upazila.

Uzzal Auto Rice Mill worker Mukter said Mostafa came into contact with a live electric wire while working to connect electricity in rice mill dryer and got injured.

He was taken to a hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.

Gouripur Police Station OC Md Borhan Uddin Khan confirmed the matter.
