Truck-ambulance collision kills 5 in Kushtia

At least five people have were killed in a collision between and truck and an ambulance in Sadar upazila of Kushtia on Tuesday afternoon.

A truck collided head-on with an ambulance in Egaromile Laxmipur area on the Kushtia-Jhenidah road around 2:30pm, leaving five dead and one injured.

The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.

Islamic University Police Station SI Abdur Rahman confirmed the matter.

All the victims were the ambulance passengers, police said.
