Patuakhali Sramaik League leader's wrist severed

Miscreants severed the wrist of Jatiya Sramik League leader's left hand in Kolapara upazila of Patuakahli on Wednesday night.
Critically injured Jewel Payder, 35, was first taken to Kolapara Hospital. From there, he was shifted to Barishal Sher-E-Bangla Medical College Hospital for better treatment.
Eye witnesses said a gang of armed miscreants attacked Jewel in front of Nasir Sikder's shop at Rojopara around 8pm. They severed his wrist of the left hand.
Kolapara Police Station OC Khandaker Mostafizur Rahman said Jewel is an accused in number of cases. No case is yet to file in this connection.
