Woman crushed under train in Sirajganj

A woman was crushed under the wheels of a train at Sadar upazila in Sirajganj district on Sunday morning.

Deceased Manjila Begum, 37, was the wife of Aminul Talukder, a resident of Kalia Purbapara village in the upazila.

Government Railway Police SI Aminul Islam said she was crushed under the Dhaka bound train Sirajganj Express at Kandapara area around 6:30 am.

Quoting locals, he said Manjila might have committed suicide over family feud.

Her body was recovered and sent to Sirajganj Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib General Hospital.
