2 young boys drown in Kaptai Lake

Two young boys drowned in Kaptai Lak in Rangamati district on Wednesday.

Deceased are Ankan,15, son of Rangamati circle forest conservator Subedar Islam, and his friend Mostak,15.

Rangamati Fires Service and Civil Defence assistant director Ratan Kumar Nath said the boys drowned while taking a bath in the lake
 adjacent to their houses around 12 noon.

After one hour of search, fire fighters recovered the unconscious boys.

They were declared dead at the Sadar Hospital.
