3 ‘drug dealers’ held in Bogura

Members of Rapid Action Battalion detained three suspected drug dealers along with hemp from Bogura district town early Friday.

The detainees are Abdul Hamid, 58, Sumon Mandal, 27, and Nabin Hossain, 26, of Lalmonirhat.

RAB said a team of elite force detained them from Baghopara area at about 3.00am and seized 21 kgs of hemp and a pickup van.

RAB-12 acting company commander Sajal Kumar Sarker confirmed the matter.

The detainees were handed over to Sadar Police Station.
