Another director of
Mind Aid Hospital, Fatematuz Zohra Moyna, has been arrested from Dhaka in a murder case filed over the death of Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Anisul Karim
Shipon.
Adabor police OC Kazi Shahiduzzaman told media on Friday that Moyna,45, was arrested from city's Mohammadpur area on Thursday afternoon.
With this arrest, 12 employees of the hospital have, so far, been arrested over the incident.
Meanwhile, police have sealed off the hospital.
On November 9, Anisul Karim Shipon , the assistant commissioner of Barishal Metropolitan Police's traffic department, was taken to Mind Aid Hospital in city's Adabor area around 11:45am for treatment. But, he died soon after admission in the hospital.
Later, a video of beating Anisul Karim Shipon in the Aggressive Management Room of Mind Aid Hospital has gone viral on social media.
The victim's father Faizuddin Ahmed lodged a murder case with Adabor Police Station early Tuesday accusing some 15 people.
Meanwhile, a Dhaka court has remanded 10 employees for seven days in the case.
