2nd group of Rohingyas leave Ctg for Bhashan Char

Second batch of Rohingyas left Chattogram for Bhashan Char in Hatia upazila of Noakhali on Tuesday morning.
Some 1,804 more Rohingyas started their journey around 9:30am from Chattogram Boat Club by five ships of Bangladesh Navy.
Chattagram Navy Regional Commander Rear Admiral Md Mozammel Haque said the Rohingyas are large in number who are heading towards the Bhashan Char.
They were brought to Chattogram from Cox's Bazar Rohingya camps on Monday.
The first batch of 1642 Rohingyas went to Bhasan Char under the Bangladesh Navy’s supervision on December 4 last.
