Sheikh Kamal Youth Games launched in Thakurgaon

Sheikh Kamal 2nd Bangladesh Youth Games was inaugurated at Sadar upazila in Thakurgaon district with the participation of budding young athletes.

Bangladesh Olympic Association organized the event at Shaheed Muhammad Ali Stadium ground on Tuesday in collaboration with the district sports association.

Thakurgaon deputy commissioner Mahbubur Rahman inaugurated the games as the chief guest at around 12 pm.

Additional deputy commissioner Mamun Bhuiyan, District Awami League president and Thakurgaon Zilla Parishad chairman Sadek Quraishi, District Sports Association general secretary Masudur Rahman Babu and District Football Association president Prabir Kumar Gupta spoke as special guests at the inaugural session.
