Farmers get agricultural equipment in Pirojpur

Agricultural equipment have been distributed among farmers at 50 percent subsidized cost at Kawkhali upazila in Pirojpur district.

Kawkhali Upazila Administration and the upazila agriculture extension department jointly organized the programme on Tuesday morning at the upazila parishad premises under the development assistance program of the 'Agricultural Mechanization through Integrated Management' project.

Kawkhali Upazila Parishad chairman Abu Sayeed Mia Manu and upazila nirbahi officer Meher Nigar Sultana were present and distributed these equipment among farmers.

At that time, upazila agriculture officer Soma Rani Das, upazila Awami League vice president Sunil Kundu, UP chairman Jahangir Hossain, UP chairman Abu Sayeed were present, among others.
