Hockey Federation VP Mohammad Yousuf dies

Mohammad Yousuf, vice-president of the current executive committee of Bangladesh Hockey Federation and acting general secretary of the previous committee, passed away on Saturday morning.

Yousuf was 61.

Muhammad Yousuf left behind his wife, a son, a daughter and host of well-wishers to mourn his death.

Sirajuddin Mohammad Alamgir, General Secretary of Chattogram Divisional Sports Association, said he breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Chattogram Evercare Hospital.

He was admitted to the hospital following a heart attack two days ago.

The funeral prayers of the deceased will be held at Chattogram Mehdi Bagh CDA Jame Masjid after Asr prayer on Saturday.

He will be buried at the Garibullah Shah Mazar Graveyard following the janaza.
