Three secretaries offices reshuffled

The Public Administration Ministry on Thursday reshuffled offices of three secretaries by issuing separate notifications.

Fisheries and Livestock Secretary Md Selim Uddin has been made Secretary to the Commerce Ministry, replacing  Senior Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh, who was on a contractual service.

Sayeed Mahmud Belal Hossain, Chairman of  Bangladesh Fisheries Development Corporation (BFDC), has been appointed as Secretary to the Fisheries and Livestock Ministry on promotion. He was in  BFDC as a grade-1 officer with the status of acting secretary.

Finance Divisions Additional Secretary Abdur Rahman Khan has been made Secretary to the Financial Institutions Division (IFD) under the Finance Ministry.

IFD Secretary Sheikh Mohammad Salim Ullah will go on post retirement leave (PRL) next week.

On Wednesday, Khandaker Mostafizur Rahman, chairman of National Housing Authority, was n promoted as a grade-1 officer and posted to the Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) as its Director General.
