2 held with foreign liquor in Bagerhat

Bangladesh Coast Guard arrested two individuals with foreign liquor from Mongla upazila in Bagerhat district on Sunday.

Acting on a tip-off, coast guard officials conducted a special drive in Mongla and arrested them with 94 cans of foreign beer and 10 bottles of liquor worth Tk 1.47 lakh from the spot.

Coast Guard West Zone Media Officer Lt Commander Md Muntasir Ibne Mohsin 
confirmed the drive and said that the arrested, along with the seized items, were handed over to Dakop Police Station for legal action.
