DU White Panel pays homage to Ziaur Rahman,Khaleda Zia

The White Panel, a platform of Dhaka University teachers, paid homage at the graves of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia at Zia Udyan on Sunday.

Prof Dr Morshed Hasan Khan, the White Panel convener, expressed grief at the loss. "The national leader Begum Khaleda Zia has left us without a guardian. We pray for her soul's forgiveness. May Allah grant her Jannah," he said.

Speaking about BNP's future leadership, Prof Morshed drew parallels between Khaleda Zia and Tarique Rahman. "Begum Khaleda Zia never harboured hatred or enmity. She never behaved badly with anyone. 

Similarly, Tarique Rahman does not hold any hatred; he is engaging in dialogue with everyone," he told reporters.
