Biman Bangladesh Airlines has deferred the suspension of its regular Dhaka/Sylhet–Manchester flights, now set to take effect on March 1 instead of the previously planned February 1.
The national carrier’s Board of Directors had earlier decided to temporarily halt operations on this route from February 1, 2026, until further notice.
However, after reviewing the situation and considering the convenience of passengers holding tickets, the board revised the suspension date to March 1.
Biman assured affected passengers that they would receive necessary support under existing company policies.
This includes travel on alternative Dhaka–London flights, ticket date changes, refunds and other related services.
Passengers seeking assistance have been advised to contact Biman’s sales offices in Dhaka and London, the airline’s call center at 13636 (+88096109-13636), or authorized Biman travel agents.
The airline expressed regret for any temporary inconvenience and requested the cooperation of passengers and all stakeholders. Passengers will be informed when regular Manchester flights resume.
