The plaintiff in Inqilab Moncho spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi murder case has filed a no-confidence petition, rejecting the chargesheet submitted by the Detective Branch (DB) of police.

Inqilab Moncho Member Secretary Abdullah Al Jaber,  plaintiff of the case,  on Thursday submitted a naraji petition before the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Jashita Islam,  expressing dissatisfaction with the investigation report.

After the hearing, the court said, "Since the case is sensational and sensitive, you have also taken time to file your objection. I will also take some time to review the documents and give an order."

But the court did not mention when it will pass an order.

On January 6, DB Inspector Faisal Ahmed, the investigation officer of the case, submitted a chargesheet against 17 accused. On 12 January, the plaintiff appeared before the court and sought time to review the chargesheet, which the court granted till today.
