Students' union and hall polls at SUST stayed

The High Court on Monday stayed Shahjalal University of Science and Technology's central students' union (SUCSU) election scheduled for Tuesday (January 20).

Following a writ, a two-member HC bench of Justice Fahmida Quader and Justice Md Asif Hasan issued this order.   

Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kajol, Barrister Rashna Imam, Barrister Moniruzzamana Asad were present on behalf of the petitioner.

Barrister Rashna Imam said SUCSU election will be held any time after four weeks.
