229 sued over Jangle Salimpur RAB officer killing

CHATTOGRAM, Jan 22: A case has been filed on Thursday in connection with the killing of an officer of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) during an operation in Jangal Salimpur in Sitakunda upazila of Chattogram on January 19.

A deputy assistant director of RAB-7, filed the case with Sitakunda Model Police Station, accusing 29 named individuals and 200 unnamed persons of killing a RAB official and injuring three others and looting firearms, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahinul Islam of the police station.
