Contractual appointment of Chief Adviser's Principal Secy Siraj Uddin cancelled

The government has cancelled the contractual appointment of M Siraj Uddin Mia to the post of Principal Secretary of Chief Adviser based on his resignatioin application.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on Monday night (February 16) confirming the cancellation of his contractual appointment.

Siraj Uddin had earlier submitted his resignation letter to the Chief Adviser. 

Officials said the decision to revoke his remaining term was taken in light of his resignation.
