FENI, Feb 25: Over 3,000 people, including officials, politicians, and members of various professions, attended an Iftar and prayer gathering organised by the BNP in Parshuram Upazila of the district Feni.
The event was held on Tuesday at the field of Parshuram Pilot High School, organised jointly by Parshuram Upazila and Municipal BNP. The programme was presided over by Upazila BNP Convener Abdul Halim Manik. Feni-1's newly elected MP Munshi Rafiqul Alam Majnu attended as the chief guest.
The programme was jointly conducted by Municipal BNP Member-Secretary Mahbubul Haque Majumdar and Upazila BNP Joint Convener Abdul Alim Maksud. Special guests included BNP National Executive Committee Co-Secretary for Village Government Affairs Belal Ahmed, NEC member Abu Taleb, District BNP Member-Secretary Alal Uddin Alal, joint conveners Gazi Habibullah Manik and Anwar Hossain Patwari, Upazila BNP Member-Secretary Ibrahim Khalil Moni, Municipal BNP Convener Kazi Yusuf Mahfuz, and the others. Leaders and activists from BNP and its affiliated organizations also took part.
Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) SM Shafayat Aktar Noor, Officer-in-Charge of Parshuram Model Police Station Ashraful Islam, and officials from various government departments, teachers, and lawyers also participated in the Iftar.
