Opener Jishan Alam smashed a 93 ball-127 runs knock as Central Zone confirmed the final of Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) one-day competition with a two-wicket win over North Zone in a high-scoring thriller at Rajshahi Divisional Stadium.

North Zone, however, confirmed the final earlier, meaning they will take on Central Zone against in the final match, to be held at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Tuesday.

Put into bat first, North Zone compiled a hefty 322-7, raising a prospect of staying unbeaten in the group phase but that was eventually not to be.

But all their effort went in vein when Jishan struck his maiden List a century. His whirlwind start was key as Central Zone gunned down the gigantic target with four balls to spare, reaching 325-8.

Jishan struck 16 fours and five sixes in his 127 off 92.    "BSS
