Dhaka University unit of Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir has announced a 21-member committee for 2026 session.
The information was revealed in a press release signed by the unit’s president Mohiuddin Khan on Sunday.
According to the release, the committee includes Asif Imam as office secretary, Miftahul Hossain Al Maruf as publicity and media secretary, Nurul Islam Sabbir as baitul maal secretary, Md Mazharul Islam as human resource development secretary, and Muslimur Rahman as education and training secretary.
Md Iqbal Haider has been appointed sports secretary, Ahsan Habib Imroz student rights secretary, Hasanul Banna IT secretary, and Anas Bin Munir international secretary.
Other members include Ashiqur Rahman as dawah secretary, Ashik Billah as skill development secretary, Md Rabiul Islam as science secretary, Hosne Yasin Arafat as business education secretary, and Md Zakaria (Sakhawat Zakaria) as law and human rights secretary.
The committee also features Naeem Hossain as literature and culture secretary, Md Taukir Hasan as publication secretary, Rafid Hasan Safwan as research secretary, and Md Mahbub Alam (Miraj) as student welfare secretary.
Earlier, on January 5, the organisation announced a partial committee of Dhaka University unit. In that committee, Mohiuddin Khan, assistant general secretary (AGS) of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU), was named president, while Ashiqur Rahman was appointed general secretary and Sajjad Hossain Khan organising secretary.
