Body of missing young man recovered in Moulvibazar

Police have recovered the body of a young man at Kulaura upazila of  Moulvibazar district.

Multiple injury marks were found on his body. Police are initially suspect that the incident might be a murder.

The deceased was identified as Ripon Mia, 29, son of Hanu Mia of Alinagar village of Prithimpasha Union.

Ripon's body was recovered from the Chaksalon area of Tilagaon Union of the upazila on Tuesday night. 

The matter was confirmed by the officer in-charge (OC) of Kulaura Police Station Md Moniruzzaman Molya. 

He said that Ripon had been missing since Monday night. Around 9 PM on Tuesday locals found his body lying in the Chaksalon. On receiving the information, a police team went to the spot and recovered the body.

The OC also said police have started an investigation into the incident.
