The country’s main Eid congregation will be held at National Eidgah at 8:30 AM on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Khatib of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque, Mufti Muhammad Abdul Malek, will lead the main jamaat at National Eidgah, while Dr. Maulana Md. Abu Saleh Patwari will remain prepared as the alternate imam.
In addition, five Eid congregations will be held sequentially at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 10:45 AM.
The first congregation will be led by Maulana Mizanur Rahman, Senior Pesh Imam of the mosque. The second will be led by Mufti Muhibbullahil Baqi Nadvi, followed by the third led by Maulana Md. Zakir Hossain, Deputy Director of Islamic Foundation.
The fourth congregation will be led by Maulana Zobayer Ahmed Al Azhari, a religious instructor at Imam Training Academy, while the fifth and final jamaat will be led by Mufti Maulana Mohammad Abdullah of the Islamic Foundation.
Meanwhile, Maulana Shahidul Islam, Assistant Librarian of the Islamic Foundation, will remain on standby as an alternate imam during the congregations.
