Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB says its naval forces destroyed facilities at the Al-Minhad base in the UAE and the Ali Al Salem airbase in Kuwait using ballistic missiles and drones, reports Al Jazeera.

In a statement posted on Telegram, IRIB said the strikes hit hangars and fuel tanks of what it described as “American-Zionist aircraft”, claiming the bases were used in attacks on Iranian territory.

The claims could not be independently verified. There has been no comment from Kuwait and the UAE.
