A writ petition was filed on Monday challenging the validity of the government's decision to cancel the license of Ad-din Medical College Hospital in Moghbazar of the capital.

Supreme Court lawyer Adv Yunus Ali Akand filed the writ in the relevant branch of the High Court.

The concerned authorities, including the Health Ministry, have been made defendants.

However, Mohammad Shishir Monir, lawyer on behalf of the Ad-din Hospital authority, said that the hospital authority has no connection with the filing of this writ.
