Motorcyclist killed on N’ganj highway

A motorcyclist was killed in a road crash in Narayanganj’s Siddhirganj upazila on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Md Farhad, 35.

According to highway police, the incident occurred around 5:00 PM on the Dhaka�"Chattogram highway in front of Dashtala area when Farhad was reportedly riding his motorcycle in the wrong direction from the Signboard area towards Shimrail Mor.

At that time, an unidentified vehicle hit him, leaving him dead on the spot.

Confirming the incident, Shimrail Highway Police Camp In-charge Md Julhas Uddin said the body has been recovered and preparations are underway to send it for an autopsy.
