Man held with Yaba pills in Barguna

Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested a suspected drug peddler along with Yaba pills from Amtali upazila in Bogura district on Monday morning.

The arrested was identified as Torikul Basit, 24, a resident of Kalikapur area in Patuakhali district.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of DB officials conducted a drive near Sakaria bus stand under Amtali police station area and arrested Torikul along with 100 pieces of Yaba pills.

Amtali Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Md Jahangir Hossain confirmed the detention and said that the arrested has been sent to jail after being produced before the jail.
