Senior journalist Anis Alamgir has called on the government to publish a white paper on the tenure of former interim Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus, asserting that accountability must be ensured in light of recent allegations surrounding the previous administration.

In a post shared on his verified Facebook page on Monday, Anis Alamgir commented on the application submitted to the Anti Corruption Commission seeking an inquiry into alleged irregularities and corruption in the procurement of vaccines, in which Dr Muhammad Yunus and former Health Adviser Dr Nurjahan Begum have been named.

Referring to the issue, he stated that raising "separate demands" in isolation was not appropriate and stressed the need for a comprehensive review of the interim government's tenure. "The government must publish the white paper of Yunus' 18 month rule," he said.
