BNP delegation visits China 

A Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) delegation has embarked on an official visit to China at the invitation of the Chinese government, with the ruling parry's Secretary General (SG) Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir scheduled to join the delegation on April 19.

BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed this information.  He said SG Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was supposed to lead the delegation earlier but could not travel due to medical reasons. He will now join on April 19.

The delegation already left Dhaka on Wednesday night. They departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11pm on April 15 on a China Northern Airlines flight. 

The delegation is being led by Ismail Zabiullah, a member of the BNP Chairman's Advisory Council and advisor to the Prime Minister.
