Nationwide Zero Waste Campaign ends

A 17-day nationwide campaign concluded on Wednesday aimed at reducing harmful waste and promoting environmental protection across Bangladesh marking the country's participation in the global observance of International Zero Waste Day.

Practical Action Bangladesh organized the campaign, began on March 30, looking to encourage community-led action in addressing Bangladesh's growing waste management challenges through awareness, practical demonstrations and citizen engagement. The initiative focused on transforming public understanding of waste from a growing environmental burden into a valuable resource for sustainable development.
