CHIRIRBANDAR, DINAJPUR, Apr 26: Wheelchairs have been distributed among the helpless and destitute disabled persons in Chirirbandar Upazila of Dinajpur.
The Chief Guest, Alhaj Md. Akhtaruzzaman Mia, MP, also Whip of the Jatiya Sangsad, on Saturday distributed wheelchairs among the helpless and destitute disabled persons from various unions of the upazila.
The event was organized by the Upazila Administration and funded by the ADP for the 2025-2026 fiscal year.
The event was presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Fateha Tuz Johara. Among those present at the time were Assistant Commissioner (Land) Shahana Afroz, Upazila Livestock Officer Md. Rayhan Ali, Upazila Agriculture Officer and Agriculturist Johara Sultana, Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mahmudun Nabi, Upazila Social Services Officer Hamidur Rahman, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Fazle Elahi, along with all heads of government departments, all Union Parishad Chairmen, journalists, and freedom fighters.
