There was no power shortfall in the country on Tuesday and Wednesday (April 28 and 29), according to the Power Division.

In a message issued on Thursday, the Power Division under the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources said the country's electricity demand on April 28 was 12,183 megawatts, which was fully met through equal power generation.

On April 29, the electricity demand stood at 10,612 megawatts and was also met in full.

As a result, no load-shedding occurred across the country during the last two consecutive days, the message added.
