Keeping in mind the theme of "Agriculture is prosperity", and promoting good agricultural practices and stressing on sustainable farming, the day-long PARTNER Congress-2026 under the Program on Agricultural and Rural Transformation for Nutrition, Entrepreneurship and Resilience (PARTNER) project for the fiscal year 2025-2026 was held in districts including Joypurhat, Dinajpur and Mymensingh on Wednesday.
JOYPURHAT: Organised by the Panchbibi Upazila Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE), the programme was held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium chaired by District DAE Deputy Director (DD) Agriculturist AKM Sadiqul Islam.
Moderated by Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer Zahir Raihan, Agriculturist Abdul Wadud, additional director of the DAE, Bogura Region, spoke as the chief guest.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Kashpia Tasrin spoke as special guest, while Upazila Agriculture Officer Agriculturist Jasim Uddin, Additional Agriculture Officer Mehedi Hasan, Agricultural Extension Officer Aniruddha Das and Upazila BNP President and upcoming Panchbibi Municipality mayoral candidate Alhaj Saiful Islam Dalim delivered welcome speeches.
CHIRIRBANDAR, DINAJPUR: The Upazila DAE organised the programme at the Upazila Parishad Hall Room on Wednesday where Whip of the Jatiya Sangsad Md Akhtaruzzaman Mia, MP, was chief guest.
UNO Fateha Tuz Johra chaired the programme while Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer Agriculturist Rezaul Karim moderated the event.
The special guests included District DAE DD Agriculturist Md Afzal Hossain, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Shahana Afroz, PARTNER project's Dinajpur Region Senior Monitoring Officer Agriculturist Sanjay Debnath, Upazila Livestock Officer Md Raihan Ali, and the others who delivered the welcome speech.
GOURIPUR, MYMENSINGH: UNO Afia Amin Pappa chaired the programme held at the Upazila Agriculture Office Training Hall Room, while Agricultural Extension Officer Kawsar Ahmed Khan moderated the event. Acting DD of the DAE, Mymensingh, Dr Umme Habiba was present as the chief guest.
Upazila Agriculture Officer Nilofar Yasmin Jolly gave the welcome speech, while PARTNER Program Senior Monitoring Officer Md Saladin Kaysar, Upazila Cooperative Officer A Halim, Upazila BNP Acting Member Secretary Abdur Rahman Babul, and Upazila Social Service Officer Mahfuz Ibne Ayub also spoke. More than a hundred farmers participated in it.
