Bank Asia takes care of staff’s mental health

Bank Asia PLC has organized a Mental Health Awareness Programme to highlight the importance of employees’ mental well-being and to raise awareness on this crucial issue.
 
The initiative was supported by Moner Bondhu, a specialized mental health service provider, says a press release. 

The programme was arranged under the planning and overall supervision of Deputy Managing Director and Chief Human Resource Officer, Akhteruddin Mahmood. Insightful sessions on mental health were conducted by Ms. Kazi Rumana Haque, Lead Psychological Counselor and Head of Mental Health Program and Mehadi Mobarak Aman, Senior Psychological Counselor from Moner Bondhu.

The program was held on May 5, 2026, at the Corporate Office of Bank Asia, Karwan Bazar, Dhaka. A significant number of bank officials participated in the program.
