The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has taken a number of decisions at the fourth meeting of the Ad-hoc Committee held on Monday at the BCB Management Office, Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

The board finalised the list of associations, clubs and organisations from which the names of 192 councillors will be invited under three categories in line with BCB constitution.

The BCB will issue letters to the respective associations, clubs and Organisations requesting nomination of their councillors, to be submitted May 16.

In another major development, the board decided to form a committee to assess applicants for the 64 District Coach positions upon the expiry of the current district coaches' contracts. The assessment will comprise both theoretical and practical components.

The board also approved the extension of the employment tenure of match referees and umpires, which expired on April 30, by further three months.     "BSS
