Laxmipur BNP begins cleanliness campaign

LAXMIPUR, May 16: BNP has launched a cleanliness drive in the district as part of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's Green City, Clean City programme.

The BNP leaders and activists started this programme from Ward No. 10 of the municipality on Saturday afternoon. 

District Jubo Dal President Abdul Alim Humayun, Ward BNP President Amin Ullah, Senior Vice President Alauddin, Vice President Abul Kalam, Joint General Secretaries Nazim Uddin and Abul Kalam, District Chhatra Dal leader Jamal Hossain and leaders and activists of the affiliate organisations were present in the programme.

District Jubo Dal President Abdul Alim Humayun said, “Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has announced the Green City, Clean City programme. On his instructions, we have started a cleanliness drive in Laxmipur.”
