First Eid jamaat held at Baitul Mukarram

The first congregation of Eid-ul-Fitr prayers was held at the National Mosque, Baitul Mukarram, with due religious solemnity and a festive atmosphere.

The prayer was held at 7AM on Thursday (May 28).

The mosque was filled to capacity by 6:45AM.

After prayers, Muslim devotees raised their hands in supplication, praying for the wellbeing of Bangladesh and its people, before exchanging embraces and Eid greetings in the traditional fashion.
